What Can I Pour?
About
What Can I Pour started in a kitchen, staring at a shelf full of bottles, mixers, juices, and random ingredients with one simple question: what can I actually make with this?
How it started
The idea began as a simple way to look at what was already on hand and quickly find something worth pouring. It then turned into an easy way for my wife to find and recreate my recipes, along with popular classics and drinks we wanted to keep track of.
Built from feedback
Every version of the site has been shaped by real feedback and real use. One friend said it would be cool to tap a button and show a bartender a random drink. That became Bartender’s Choice. Other feedback led to better ingredient search, more common ingredients, mocktails, recipe pages, difficulty labels, and easier ways to browse.
Not just cocktails
Mocktails are part of the site because not everyone wants alcohol, but plenty of people still want to be part of the fun. What Can I Pour is meant to help with cocktails, mocktails, party drinks, porch drinks, pantry drinks, classics, and homegrown recipes.
What we are building
We are working to add as many useful recipes as possible, including well-known classics, beginner-friendly drinks, mocktails, and some twists that are easy to make at home.
The goal
The goal is simple: make it easier to enjoy a good drink at home, get ideas before going out, find something a bartender can make, or quickly figure out what to pour with what you already have.
Responsible use
What Can I Pour is for adults of legal drinking age. We do not sell or deliver alcohol. Please drink responsibly, measure pours carefully, know your limits, and never drink and drive.
