Ingredients

  • 3 oz Gin Use a gin you like. This drink is mostly spirit, so the bottle matters.
  • 1 oz Vodka A clean vodka works best.
  • 1/2 oz Lillet Blanc or dry vermouth Lillet Blanc is closer to the Bond-style version. Dry vermouth works if that is what you have.

How to make it

  1. Add gin, vodka, and Lillet Blanc or dry vermouth to a shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice.
  3. Shake hard for 15–20 seconds until very cold.
  4. Strain into a chilled martini glass or coupe.
  5. Garnish with a lemon peel if you have one.
