The Big German

Ingredients

• 1/2 oz Vodka One of the base spirits.
• 1/2 oz Gin Adds botanical bite.
• 1/2 oz Rum White, dark, or toasted coconut rum can work.
• 1/2 oz Tequila Do not overpour unless you mean it.
• 1/2 oz Triple Sec Adds the orange liqueur layer.
• 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice Balances the liquor.
• 1/2 oz Simple Syrup Adjust down if your cola is very sweet.
• 3 oz, or top Cola Gives it the iced tea look.

How to make it

1. Add vodka, gin, rum, tequila, triple sec, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a shaker with ice.
2. Shake for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
3. Fill a highball glass with fresh ice.
4. Strain the drink over the fresh ice.
5. Top with at least 3 oz of cola. Use a larger glass if needed.
6. Stir gently.
7. Drink responsibly. This one is not playing around. Good for angrily playing video games.
