Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Gin Old Tom gin is ideal, but London Dry works.
  • 1.5 oz Sweet vermouth Keep vermouth refrigerated after opening.
  • 1/4 oz Maraschino liqueur Adds subtle cherry-almond sweetness.
  • 2 dashes Bitters Orange bitters are great if you have them.

How to make it

  1. Add gin, sweet vermouth, maraschino liqueur, and bitters to a mixing glass.
  2. Add ice and stir until cold.
  3. Strain into a coupe.
  4. Garnish with lemon peel or cherry if you have it.
